Section Polyacrylamide Gel Electrophoresis (PAGE) contains numerous instruments for separation of proteins and related techniques. For Agarose Gel Electrophoresis various systems for separation of DNA and RNA are offered. Especially for the separation of large DNA molecules up to 8 Mb (= 8,000 kb) the Rotaphor System with its patented electrode rotor has been developed.
In addition to agarose gel separation of nucleic acids we provide a system for manual Sequencing. Suitable Power Supplies are available for all electrophoresis and blot apparatus. In the Blotting section we offer various instruments for the transfer of proteins and nucleic acids from polyacrylamide gels, agarose gels or solutions onto carrier membranes (blotting membranes). Instruments for semi-dry and tank-blotting are available.
