Corrosion test
Corrosion test
Seta bath tests fuel and lubricant corrosion.
Corrosion testing is fundamental in assessing how fuels and lubricants perform under simulated service conditions and helps to support effective control and prevention of problems caused by corrosion.
The Seta Silver and Copper Corrosion Bath is a bench top, stainless steel water or oil bath. Digitally controlled to ±0.1 °C over a temperature range of ambient +5 °C to 150 °C, the bath is used to determine the corrosive effects of fuels, lubricants and other hydrocarbon products on copper and silver.
The bath features 6 test stations, each with a lid and hook for suspending a Corrosion Pressure Vessel (11500-0) or a test tube Support Assembly (11422-0). You can use any combination of copper corrosion vessels and test tube supports for maximum test flexibility.
